2017 Summer “Circle of Friends” Camp Updates

Happy Summer!!

Our first week of summer “Circle of Friends” camp was a blast! We would like to welcome back all of senior campers! We started the week off with a moon bounce and sno-cones. We had a rockin’ dance party feat. DJ Kitty Cat and a special visit from Hello Kitty. From playing minute to win it games to making our very own bird feeders we can all agree that we started the summer off right! Despite the unpredictable weather on Friday, we still made it out for a splashin’ fun time in the sprinklers and water slide. Stay tuned to see what this week brings!

The fun continued during week 3 of our “Circle of Friends” Camp! We hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Independence Day. Our Junior campers spent Wednesday morning at “My Little Gym” and had a ball sliding, bouncing and jumping their way through the gym. Senior campers created their own tie-dye shirts and competed in our weekly water wars! Even though the skies were threatening on Friday, we beat the weather and had a fun day at the pool. Great job campers!

Week 4 of our “Circle of Friends” Camp was a hot one! Seniors started the week cooling off at Sahara Sam’s. They enjoyed some inside A/C time making their own tents and playing camping games. Seniors and Juniors also cooled off with an ice cream party on Wednesday. We introduced shaving cream into our Water Wars games this week and all the campers had a blast. Junior campers got to make their own stuffed animals this week during “Stuff N’ Fluff” day! Junior Baking class made octopus cupcakes and the Science class experimented with and learned about “density”. On Friday we all beat the heat with a water slide and moon bounce!
